MLG FFA playlist added

MLG now has a ranked free-for-all playlist. So if anyone wants to see how their individual skills match up against pros, now's the time before they rank up very far. No teamwork or teamshooting, just you and your BR and nades vs. 7 other players.

Now if only there were a way to play Heretic with frag starts instead of plasmas it would be perfect.

Maps:
Heretic - 50%
Guardian - 12.5%
Modified Assembly - 12.5%
Modified Citadel - 12.5%
Lockdown (Foundry) - 12.5%

I've heard Assembly is a really fun FFA map with MLG settings.

I haven't been on in awhile so I may just have to just to play some MLG FFA. I hope I'm not disappointed.

Yeah, no power weapons so it's less crouching with shotguns and more about intelligently positioning yourself to steal kills. If it were the same as LW, what would be the point?

I think 50% Heretic is a good compromise. Halo 2 FFAs were 100% MIdship and a lot of MLG guys would have wanted the list to be like that, but I doubt Bungie would make a playlist with just one map (at least there'd be no waiting for a veto).

I might wait for the beastly players to rank up and then I'll try it in about a week. That's the problem with these lists with good gametypes (MLG, Throwback, etc.) is that they attract better players so the ranks are skewed. It's way harder to get a 45 in those lists than Team Slayer.

I played heretic FFA yesterday, It was the bomb and this playlist is way better then lone wolves.

Well, anyone who wanted to match against pros and see how they are without their teams has probably missed their chance. Just think, you could have been in this game vs. Cloud. Scrubs or not, +78 with a Killpocalypse ain't bad for his first game in the playlist.
