We are a small gaming group only allowing 30 friends into the core group. We are not a clan, we are friends sitting around a campfire drinking some brew and telling war stories.

Namloco, the creator and co-founder of Saved By Grace Gaming along with the talented Nocturnis, the man behind 'thewestwalker.net' and some of the great changes to sbgclan.com, have formed Spartan Gaming from a very simple 'back to the basics' ideal. A smaller member roster, clean games, a little trash talk and a lot of fun.

SG chooses to not have the title of a conventional clan and the frustrations they can bring. Therefore, some of the first things on our list of keeping things light and fun is enforcing the guidelines of avoiding all political and religious topics on our forums. Please respect this request as we feel it is necessary to keep the peace and focus on the games we love. There are many great clans that offer alternatives to people looking for a forum to celebrate and debate their lifestyles and views, SG chooses not to be such a place.


Well, besides running a successful gaming community for the last five years, I've also participated in a Bungie Humpday challenge where myself and other friends played in a series of games against the makers of Halo. Yes, it was fun, no, I don't have recon. The games are in my (Namloco SBG) fileshare.

I've also nerd-ed my man cave out a couple of years back and was featured in the Official Xbox Live Magazine.

Realize I say this not to gloat but simply to let any who do not know me be rest assured I'm not a 10 year old starting another would be gaming group. In fact, I'm not even in charge here. SG chooses to run things as a whole community. This means all things are agreed upon between all 30 members. This leaves me less responsibility and little stress. I'm simply throwing in my experience to further the fun factor of the group. Because in the end, I'm here for fun just like you.
